The newly formed Lok Rakshak Recruitment Board by the Home Department was to start the process of filling up the nomination forms for various cadres including LRD in Class-III from October 1. However, due to the local body elections in Gandhinagar itself, there is a backlash against the official announcement due to the code of conduct. Now, after the counting of votes on Tuesday, the selection boards of the panchayat department, including various recruitment boards in the police system, will make an official announcement.
Panchayat Talati, including Multi Purpose Health Worker, has 18,200 vacancies in 9 different associations. In addition to 18,000 Lok Rakshak Dal personnel in the police system, recruitment has been announced for about 28,500 posts including Home Guard and TRB. In addition, the government has sought information on vacancies in all departments, including health.
Pressure has increased on the departmental recruitment institutes including GPSC, Secondary Service, Panchayat Service Selection Board to complete the past 36 stalled recruitments and new recruitment processes before the Assembly-2022 elections.
